Many times I have seen people being much interested in knowing their life span. Whether though an astrologist or through some kind of Baba or Santh etc. I think everybody in this world want to live a long life. If you say somebody that he will be living one more day only, look at his miserable condition and fear on his face. Is it true that the Death is a frightful thing? I don't know because I have never died in my life.
It is not important for me "when I am going to die". But "how I am going to die" is really important for me. "How" doesn't mean by heart-attack or natural death. It is the time around you when you are on the death bed. Somebody is not missing you though you are dead, somebody is not able to spare some tears for you though you are dead, somebody is not feeling the pain in his/her heart though you are dead, somebody is happy that you are dead. These things matters when you are dead. If somebody leaves this earth and nobody is missing him nor worried for his death then it can be said that this poor person's life as well as death both were coerced.
A child when was born on this earth, every nearer and dearer of this baby became happy when this baby cried a lot. If the baby doesn't cry the happiness is reduced to some extent. Also the baby is considered to be a lucky one if it has lots of people to be happy when it was crying. The reverse happens when somebody is dead. We all are not sure that whether there is another life beyond this life or not. But let's assume that there is. When somebody is dead, at the same time he takes birth in another life. But the basic difference between this life and that life is that in this life the baby cries when it takes birth but in that life it laughs when takes birth.
A dead man's laugh. How much he should laugh? How much he should be happy?. All depends upon how much people cried for him when he left this life. A person who was a good son/daughter, good brother/sister, good husband/wife, good father/mother, good grant father/mother, good friend, good relative, good adviser and also a good stranger is always missed when dies. Everybody miss the love that a person has given to all during his/her life. Enemies are not the only category of persons who became happy on your death. Also there may be some near and dear to you whom you have never loved, never cared for, never used a pleasant word for, never shared his/her sorrows can never cry at your death.
Don't do the deeds only, rather only do good deeds. To do a good deed it doesn't cost much. A smile for somebody, a pleasant word for somebody, a small time from your busiest schedule for somebody, a little saving of your income for the betterment of somebody, a helping hand for somebody, a caring shoulder for somebody will always be missed on your death. Somebody should not wish to live a longer life, rather should pray God to have such a death where the whole world would be crying for his/her death.
Live to die with a smile when the world would be crying for you.
Love you all,
