'Kya haal chaal?'
Our native language Hindi is better than English. In English when we meet someone, we ask 'How are you?". It is a question with a stereo-type answer. In Hindi we ask "Kya haal chaal?". This is actually two questions clubbed together. 'Kay haal' means 'How is your situation?' and 'Kya chaal' means 'How do you respond to it?'. How wonderful these two questions are!
The best answer to 'Kya haal chaal?' is 'Sab Badhiaa!' means both the situation and my response are good. A better answer to this question is 'Badhia.' means though my situation is not that good but I am responding in a good way. Somehow a mixed answer is 'Thik hai' means the situation is not good and I am trying to adjust with it. A sad answer is 'Mat puchh yaar' means 'Don't ask my friend' this implies that neither my situation is good nor my response to it.
It tells a lesson that, how bad the situation may be, it will not become bad if you respond to it positively.
